What has four legs in the morning?
Yes, a baby and Ad Hacker just turned 0.4! While it's simply a hobby and only a few real days of programming old, but I think it's pretty cool to see all the privacy leaks while browsing around. Check it out at the Ad Hacker homepage or go straight to AMO for a download

Mike,
I am the author of Ghostery (http://www.ghostery.com/).
While I appreciate the flattery that you created Ad Hacker based on Ghostery it looks like you simply extracted my rule definitions and used them as your own.
I've spent a lot of time on those and they are CopyRighted as indicated in the header in the source code:
/**

*/
I need to ask that you remove our rules from your otherwise great extension.
Thanks,
David
David, you are right that 12 of the test rules came from your plug-in and were being used for testing and also made it out into the wild.
I'm very sorry about this and have removed your rules from the database and written a new set from scratch. The new rules will be updated on users machines the next time they re-start their browser.
I really appreciate the work you did on Ghostery and it was the inspiration for Ad Hacker.
